In April 2014, we decided to take the leap of faith and officially start our business! Bruce has been doing tree work since 2002, but it has always been side work in addition to his regular job. At the time he was working for a construction/restoration company, but it wasn't fulfilling. Lisa was working part-time at a bank and also working toward her MBA. Even though she's never really enjoyed office work, learning the functional side of running a business is always helpful. Bruce & Lisa both enjoyed being able to work together and working outside, so starting a tree service seemed perfect!

Over the years, we started getting enough tree work that we decided to quit our full-time jobs and put our all into this thing, hoping it would take off. Now, we're very proud of the business we've been able to establish and maintain over the past decade, plus.

We started with not much more than a chainsaw, truck, small trailer and a lawnmower. Some of you may remember that we were Tucker's Tree Service & Lawncare when we first started. After the first year, our tree service kept us so busy that we couldn't keep up with the lawn care, so, we dropped it and became Tucker's Tree Service & Excavating. As we gained more and more customers, we were able to meet the growing demands with better equipment so that we could become a full tree and excavation service!

You took a chance on us and helped get our name out there to get this business off the ground - many of you have become friends of ours.
